System Pics 2005
Posted by: Steve Toy on 05 November 2004
Further to Geoff P's marvellous pics on This thread, a new year and a new thread to post pics of your pride and joy (all-Naim or at least part-Naim) awaits so that we can all get nit-picky about placement issues - to your ultimate sonic benefit!
Regards,
Steve.

Thought I'd give this a try.

thirty three, nice system and room, those Meadowlarks look a bit Naim-like.
What's that mat on your LP12?

Thank you Bazz:
I'm kind of new to the world of Naim and I'm loving every minute of it.
That turntable mat is Herbie's Way Excellent Turntable Mat found here : http://herbiesaudiolab.home.att.net/ttmat.htm#TT%20Mat
I've found it to be a nice blend of the LP12 felt mat and the Ringmat, both of which I've tried.

Welcome to the forum! Nice looking setup -- but how comfortable are those Eames chairs for listening? If I'm not mistaken those floor tiles look like the ones from DWR -- I did the exact same thing -- a 4x3 pattern on my hardwood floors right in front of the speakers. Have you considered moving the system from between the speakers?
cheers,
Dan
Sorry for taking so long to reply, Dan.
The Eames LCW chairs are extremely comfortable. The sofa serves as my main listening seating but if the sofa were off to the side, I'd guarantee that the Eames LCWs would be pretty comfy for listening (I use them for reading currently).
As far as the rack of gear goes, I have no where else to place it for the moment unless a flash of inspiration forces me to place it somewhere else when I get long enough speaker cables to support that!
