That's a lovely collection of Naim hi-fi boxes you have there.

Unfortunately they are awaiting a more appropriate assembly that will enable them to give more than 50% of their potential, and turn them into much more of a musical reproduction medium.

You may not like what I'm saying but you'd love the potential your very expensive system has yet to offer...

A cheaper system set up with more consideration for performance rather than squeezing the lot in under your telly, and with the whole requirements of your audio-visual room as it *stands* would blow your current set up into the weeds...

I think that it is tipicaly English those carpets.


Bhazen: It was on the ground temporary. Becouse i changed my listening position. That ideal position is not pracktical with the kids in my house. (cycling around in the room)


But it still sound very well. I 've not a realy special rack.

I know, I know...... a seperate rack/fraim for the audio is needed, plus a bloody long cable to connect it back in to my AV2 which I'd leave under the TV with the rest of the kit not worthy enough, also a HiCap for the NAC is high if not higher up there on the list and then the CD5 could really do with being swapped for a CDX2 after that and then, and then, and then..................

Hi kered.

The basic picture attachment facility is disabled (and has been for some time). The only way you can display a photo here is with a 'File Transfer Protocol' application and some personal web-space to 'host' your image.

Thanks Martijn - you've completed a full set of interior decor abuse. I have now had the piss taken out of my carpets, curtains and doors.

I enjoy the fact that my home interior is deeply unfashionable and that the 'home makeover twats' (on TV) do not trouble me.

You do realise that next year they'll be saying that polished wood floors are soooooo 2004 - and will be recommending carpet again - Jerks!

The sound of the system is what matters to me and carpet is pretty essential I reckon. It's probably obvious that the WAF does not trouble me (any more!)

I protest! I refuse to be lumped in with you! I'll have you know my taste in Rugs is very trendy. Or very IKEA anyway.

I live in the land of the wooden floor. I think they do it because they think when it floods their houses will float! Most of em just don't get the thing about reflective, springy surfaces and HiFi, nevermind the fun of chasing Fraim balls around the floor when you drop one.

The left tower comprises from top to bottom:-
XPS2, 552PS, 500PS, 500

The right tower comprises from top to bottom:-
CDS3, Empty, 552, NAT05

and at the other end of the room (approx 19 feet) NBLs.

Argghhhh!
