System Pics 2005
Posted by: Steve Toy on 05 November 2004
Further to Geoff P's marvellous pics on This thread, a new year and a new thread to post pics of your pride and joy (all-Naim or at least part-Naim) awaits so that we can all get nit-picky about placement issues - to your ultimate sonic benefit!
Regards,
Steve.

Looks nice!!!!
Plinth cost inc VAT £204.74
You WILL get a sonic improvement over your existing Afromosia plinth as yours doesn't have the corner bracing.

Peter

NB
That looks much better. All you need now is a dedicated spur and a Hydra. It's the best £250 or so you will ever spend!

well, some new additions to my system.
Got me a Linn/Ittok/Denon160 and swapped the Nait2 cd for a Nait3/HiCap with MM boards.
Cheers,
Pedro
PS: I only wished I could take pics like kuma does ...

kota,
A nice clean system.
Did you make those racks? ( they look great, btw )
Looks like you've sorted out a Nait 3 phonostage for your LP12.
Here's to our Nait 3R!

Hi kuma
Yes indeed. I made the rack myself and the phono stage for the LP12 is sorted. I ended up using the Hicap on the nait rather than on the cd3.5 since vinyl is king once again.
Keep posting those excellent pics !!!
Cheers,
Pedro

Stoik,
You've missed the Nait 3R and 1!.![]()
I've been listening to the 2 whilst my 3R is checked over.
The Nait 5i will be a lot different from the Nait 2 for sure.
Enjoy your little one.
Yes, i know, i've ever eard a Nait 1, and i don't know anyone who have one, i started it all with the 2. And i've been in the wild between the 3 and the 5!
I purchased a pair of new speakers for the Nait a very natural way, i knew it was the right thing to do. I could go for a high end pair of computer speakers at the price of the B&W (like the Klipsh Promedia 5.1) but i choosed quality over quantity...
I hope that little green light is going to be with me as long as i live! (and i'm still young!
Bye.

Ah well... we will spend money.
Here's how mine looks after the latest upgrade...300 / 300PS / two extra Fraim shelves and move the Gyrodec.
There's a Dynavector P75 hidden behind this lot aswell.

Geoff, why can't I see your pictures (I get a white box with a red cross for each picture) but can see everyone else's?
Posted on: 16 May 2005 by Edouard
Congratulations Geoff, you have a really nice set up and your 2 Fraim racks look impressive!
I could see that you moved back your system where it was in the first place.
Enjoy it!

You may have to enter your password again.

I don't seem to get an option Edouard (just a white box with a red cross for each picture - i.e. I know there are three pictures posted for instance) but seem to be able to see everyone else's though. Maybe Geoff posts his pictures on a different site to most people????

Yep, though the sound was quite good in the other position ultimately it did'nt have quite the quality that the original position does.
PS, Since Edouard can see my piccies I think you need to log -in again. Myabe if you logout and then re-log in it might work. That is what red crosses meant for me in the past.

Those 300's look very nice there Geoff
Posted on: 16 May 2005 by sjust
So, Geoff, you've put the 300 onto the brain stack, a move which I haven't made, yet (all money gone, have to wait before I can get another Fraim level).
Did you do that after experimenting, or is it just a logical thing to do ?
Stefan
