At last, my very own listening room . Only problem is the walls are plasterboard and brick would be better for the Kans.

52 and 135's are waiting for me to tire of the Nait 2. Could be a long time before that happens.

That's a delightfully different system John. Sonically and visually.

I've owned three pairs of Kans in my time and have very fond memories of a pair of 135's making them belie their size, like you wouldn't believe.

I'm guessing that you don't play too loud? If so; the Nait2 within its limits is a wonderful amplifier. Are you able to explore the potential of your 52 and 135's by cranking up the volume?

Simple and visualy unobtrusive.

The music should fill the room. Not the gear. I like it a lot.

A single four-tier rack would be even more simple and visually unobtrusive.

J.N. I barely get the volume above 9 o'clock, even when the wife and kids are out, but last night I pushed things a bit and you could sense the slight strain on the speaker/amp interface. Still great fun though. I guess there is no pressure of expectation from the cost. To me its is the combination all others have to justify their price against. I think the 135's add more "gravitas" but together with the 52&SC the system seems to loose some of the bounce and fun the Nait 2 brings. I've tried the 62& Supercap and that was somewhere between the two. Methinks the 52 needs a service.

Kuma, I guess I'm lucky to have a large room (6.5m square). It's a properly converted double garage and well insulated from the rest of the house. I'm so impressed with what it can do I'm tempted to sell the 52 SC and 135's, 62 and HiCap. Wife hates the speakers though, and in particular the stands. Borrowing some Harbeth C7's next week. They'll need the 135's. If you don't mind I'll tell me wife someone thinks its beautiful!

Steve, I agree on the four tier stand. It'll have to be a Fraim. Got to see just how much I can squeeze out of "source first". Sell all the other redundant kit and get a CDS3 & XPS2 and Fraim??

I think the general rule Bec is to make sure its forty feet wide so you have to scroll all over the place.

Once placed Steve Toy can give you advice on where to place your equipment, for some reason.

Naimforce, presumably your centre speaker has a bit of an inferiority complex?
