The ones Pratmaster have are £9k, they do a cheaper £5k version and a special £20k version which is made to order.

They don't just look competent they sound amazing.

What's the difference?
I'm quite sure they sound fantastic, especially with such esoteric equipment as yours

The difference is in the crosovers. The £5k unit uses cheaper components. The £20k units use the silver Kondo units hence the extra cost.

On the end of a Naim system they are sublime. One of the most perfectly balanced speakres I have heard.

It would be great fun to experience a system like yours, but not when you're on an empty stomach...

I will be totally honest and say I haven't heard them. I am sure Pratmaster has and he can help you more than I can.

I know Emotions have been sold in USA and Japan so Sweden shouldn't be a problem.

Why not contact Derek at ART and ask for his help.

I've just bought new speakers, but sometimes money just pop up from unexpected sources and when it happens it's good to be prepared, but looking at my profile, it's best used on a CDP or better amplification

RIno the V6 model is very good, nice fast and detailed, not sure if they are still doing the V8, better give them a call, I find it hard to describe, but the thing with ART, is flat full range and very neutral, they major on dynamics, and have midrange to die for, remember these are the sons of the Dunlop of system dek fame, so they are not new to audio, and ARt have been around since the nineties.

They also have the cheaper stiletto models, the £1k tiny floorstanding stiletto is a revalation with it's tiny 4" driver, and horn loaded tweeter, Give them a call they may be able to help.

As for running on esoteric kit, I have heard these with a kit 300B valve amp with an old Nak cd4 and they were still stunning,so esoterica, need not apply, as for a 300, well strap yourself in it's one helluva ride, my amp is 150w/ch into 8 ohms, and doubles as impedence halves, I can feel the beat through the brick work outside (is that enough of a workout PB )

I have the back of these big speakers 8" from the wall, the bottom port, and baffle width seem to not need fussy placement, they are happy anywhere. And the scale at lowest volume is a revelation.

Bow marketing is a joke, Kuma, I'm not sure they are marketed anywhere anymore.

compared to Densen, hard to say, been a long time since I heard densen, sound is lush, detailed, fast and funky, plenty of macro and microdynamics, and nice well defined soundstage, I'm crap at describng what i hear though.

Some of these may be out of date Rickard, they still have some of the English retailers listed, but AKAIK there is now only one outlet in the whole of the UK, and thats in Glasgow.

Yep. ( but AA Jota is better than Diavolo )

I suspect valve amps would work better than a Naim amp.
Kondo amps are pretty darn special, too.

My experience is that if a speakers is designed with particular types of amp in mind, you're better off using the very amp rather than retro fitting something else.

My normal speakers are voiced with Jotas and whilst the 300 does good job driving, ultimately, I've heard the amp delivering more with something more suited than my Hamiltons.

Interesting thing is that it's independent from technical requirements as the Hamiltons are easy to drive yet something is not quite working right when I use the 300 with them.
