The marble is heavy which, with the spikes, work as an isolation platform for the CD playerer. The result is so obvious on the old rack (with 112X), I mean compare to bare old rack!



The Q4 rack improves the system a lot, and adding this marble on it to support the CD5X, the difference seems not as big as on the old rack, but provide a little bit more focus.

I am not good in describe sound! anyway it works.

Nice pictures Ken, but more easily viewed if smaller. 640 x 480 usually shows enough detail, or 800 x 600 if you want it a little bigger.

Wow. Posting pictures is easier than I thought. It's all Rega apart from the cables....There's a poor head on that Guinness though isn't there?

Yep It all works, I actually meant would the photo work. I'd love a Naim System and will own one eventually but for now this suits me fine. Notice Grommit on the arm of the settee and socks with crap darning.

My feet are as sweet as roses. It's the Guinness without the widget thing in the can. It tastes better in my opinion but the head disappears quickly.

Lovely birds eye maple Living Voice speakers, with not a Naim in sight.

That's blasphemy on this Forum.

And those speaker supports... look much better than a Mana.

It my TT Haim, it's one big MF. Designed it in 1998. The tiniest member got hit by the flu and she is one irritated little munchkin. She's too young for medication. We just have to be very careful about not letting it get any worse.

No worries Philip old chap... the 282/250 is on the way.. should be snuggled in my rack before the end of the year. The Onix is filling in for Naim's duties at the moment.

For the speaker supports, they have a two fold function .. one to raise them to bring the tweeter to earheight ( I have a high listening chair) and the other is to house the crossover of the LV's. I get to keep the X-over close to the speakers at the same time kepp them from vibrations as the column has rubberised cork end washers. Also, the whole shebang is on sliders so, easy to move them around for positioning. They're black now...

I've ordered some glass shelves for the Rack of Jag (currently 25mm MDF and M20 Stainless Steel threaded shafts) for placement on the MDF
