Nothing to improve the sound, their the covers from the speakers. It's always covers off for me when the serious listening starts. (Should really put them in a more appropriate place).

May I ask what kinda software you are using to mix colour/black-white pictures ?

(I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 but haven't been able to find that future)

Thanx Alco.
I use Photoshop CS (mac).
Open the piccie. Now go into menu
Image->Adjustments->Hue/Saturation ("apple" U on the mac)
Now fiddle around with the Saturation sliders to accentuate certain colours and de-emphasise the rest. For instance, if you only want red to stand out, reduce saturation of all other colours to zero (may not need to alter "master" saturation. You'll now have a black and white piccie with the red bits remaining colour.

Multi-colour objects? just use the polygonal lassoo tool to select background areas and then press (shift "apple" u) to desaturate the selected bits only.

(I think the "apple" button is same as the "window/menu" button on a pc)

You should really consider getting the + upgrade for your FB1's, new soft dome tweeter (from the OB1), new crossover. Few hundred quid, makes a huge difference.

I have tried changing the drivers for the "shielded" ones because the speakers are so close to the telly, but to be honest, I think I prefer the original ones. I'll be collecting a set of Briks on Saturday (PMS - late ones with the internal cross overs), thought i,d give those a go. Will post some more pics hopefully on Sunday afetr I,ve given the system a good clean.

Is the mod one I could do myself?. I changed the speaker drive units no problem.

You could but its a bit of work. If your dealer doesnt charge too much, and he shouldnt, then I would get him to do it. The transmission line needs to be adjusted as well.
