Stacking cds2/52 and xps/scap

Howdy All.
Anybody tried stacking these units.I mean having the cds2 stacked atop 52 on a top shelf , and further down the rack have the xps/scap stacked. The higher voltage and transormer fields are thus well away from the more sensitive units.I cant see a problem with the small signal units at the top.Consididering that the cases are grounded and should be acting like cage grounds isolating the inards from outside fields.
If the transformers are in the same positions in the xps/scap , this would also make stacking these 2 units less of an issue ( or so I believe ?).
This would give me 2 extra shelves which would be useful to put equipment in which I occassinaly use , but is off when not in use.

Any thoughts or experiences folks ?

Thanks , Mark.

I found that increasing seperation between boxes (ie power supplies/power amps) brought noticeable benefits with increasing sepeartion upto 6-8 inches. If you have your PSUs "stacked" then IMO you are compromising performance to a marked degree....I recently went through a "support upgrade"...I originally had my 135s "stacked"...I now use 11 shelves spaced vertically at 8.5 inches!
