It's called Translinear Light. Features son Ravi Coltrane, Charlie Haden & Jack DeJohnette. The reveiews sound fantastic, it's out today so I am going to indulge.

I have it for a few weeks, now, and must say it's one remarkable piece of music making ! Quite different styles, on there, too - depending on the co-players on the individual tracks and the instrument AC is playing.
Don't make the mistake to search for John Coltrane "relics", just take it as a piece of contemporary music making between a group of musicians with "pedigree" and an exceptional woman that has [PATHETIC] earned her seat in music history. [/PATHETIC]

Nick, you're ill.
The only Alice Coltrane record I can listen to is A Monastic Trio, and even that has to come off the turntable as soon as she starts playing the harp. DeJohnette should wake her up a bit though.
