Well, here's mine (if it works). Someone asked how you get an image of the desktop with icons etc. It's cntrl+print screen, and then paste into anything. Except maybe a forum message (we'll see).
I can't have nudie/girlie pictures, because the Pixie would inevitably substitute it for Brad Pitt or something. So we settled on this faintly naff photo I took of guess where.

Reminds me of Worms - the only real use for a playstation. You've made me all nostalgic...

One that the kids love !
Awww - that's a really cool shot!!! Naimthattune's Ferrari(?) one is rather sorted as well, as is that cool Naim Audio one that looks like a giant plasma ball.
Garyi - yours is VERY VERY trippy... Like that oen a LOT!
My work one's cool - helps me remember there's a whole world out there just waiting to be discovered again at the end of June:
- obviously this is a smaller version. Roll on a sunrise at the Stone Circle at Glastonbury this year so I can update it

George,
these cute thingies are called 'gdesklets' and can be found here.
It's basically a GNOME-based thing, I'm not sure whether they can be used with Win32, maybe via Cygwin.
Best regards,
Oliver

My wallpaper generally consists of pics of either my wife or my cats doing things that I find cute, but which would probably make others roll their eyes.
Currently, however, I have a pic of my reef on my screen. Here it is compressed from it's glorious 1600x1200.
(I'm a good reefkeeper but a crap photographer. Sorry.)

Nah. Another dismal failure. I really have to learn how to use these computer thingies.

I have just set PIA02991: Global City Lights as my wallpaper.
I downloaded the .tif file but could not at first find a way to have it install as wallpaper on mky MS XP Home machine. After a bit of fiddling about with MS paintbox I managed to save as a .bmp which installed without problems so I now have nice crisp 2400 by 1200 God's eye view of the Earth sitting upon my desktop.
The people at Nasa have a few more good pictures so I may well chop and change around the universe just as the mood takes me.
