Their delivery would have to be faster than their website. I think I can can get more than 4 albums a month for under £40 + £30 joining fee.
Not for me.

Have to agree with Howard. It seems very expensive, probably ideal for cash rich, time poor people who prefer to let someone else choose for them.
Are the selections refined in any way for individuals or are they just lumped together in two or three broad categories? That wasn't clear. Musical taste is a very personal thing, just because two people like A doesn't mean they'd both like B
I ran through the Join pages it doesn't ask much so you could end up with anything. So its basically 3 from 10 each month! No choice they just send you three (or 4 or 5 or 10!) irrespective of whether you want them or not!
That's worse than the old book clubs which used to be the only way to get books cheaper than the rrp.

It got a really good review in the FT at the weekend. The reviewer was sent 3 albums that he rated as exceptional. If you don't like an album you return it for a full refund.

Which Rough Trade does the recommendations and pickings?
I find the Ladbrook Grove one far more rocky than the Covent Garden One.
For instance, the LG shop didn't stock the Studio 1 reissues, whereas CG had nearly all of them.
LB favours James Yorkston, CG Thomas Fehlmann?
Also, a bit expensive, and also takes away half the fun, which is going into the shops and discovering new things for yourself.
If people are so cash rich and time poor, I can offer a service where I choose, buy and listen to the records for them, they just need to send me the money every month.
