I did wonder what Chavs were.

My brothers in the North East of Scotland call them "Vinnies" for fairly obvious reasons.

I've always had a problem with the NED thing as shouldn't it be 'uneducated' rather than 'non-educated' i.e. it seems a bit 'pot calling the kettle black' to describe the uneducated in a gramatically incorrect way.

On the other hand, UD hasn't got the same ring to it as NED I guess.
