I just noticed I have gone from 50% to 1% of available storage -- what happened? Has MS given up on trying to sell extra storage because of gmail?

That's it -- it appears I now have 250MB of storage - not bad for free!

Yep, I was upped to 250Mb a couple of months ago. I think it night have something to do with competition from google's gmail.
