A dream Rose Bowl?

Could it actually happen - Cal vs. Michigan? Let's hope they both pummel their oponents tomorrow.

Michigan at OSU and then Standford at Cal are our live games here today (followed by Oregon at Oregan St).
I like Michigan over Ohio even though it's Michigan Ohio and it's in Columbus. Solid defence and a good running game is what you want in big rivalry games away from home and in add the big play potential and experience of Braylon Edwards and I they think they can prevail as long as the freshman RB and QB hold up. Chad Henne and Michael Hart have both got some talent though so it's looking good for Michigan over the next few years.
Michigan By 2
Cal have got way too much for Stanford and will win by 14.
Of more interest thought is Auburn or Oklahoma to play USC in the Orange Bowl. Assuming all three win out I fear the computers will give it to Oklahoma even though most people rate Auburn higher and want to see USC play Auburn which would be a great match up.
Oklahoma rather bore me. They were such a let down from the Kansas blowout last year onwards and have since managed to win without really engaging my interest. I think it's partly becuase Jason White looks vageuyl like he is related to Mick Hucknall somewhere along the line. And then there was that running up the score thing last week which was a bit lame.
Auburn however are ace. Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown ROOOCCKKKK and their complete dismatling of a very good Georgia team last week was the as impressive a performance as I've seen from anyone this year.

I can't imagine anyone wants Stanford to win -- it will cost each Pac10 team $450K if they do. Cal hasn't been to the Rose Bowl since the 50s.
I certainly hope Michigan wins by more than 2 (I think the spread is 3), but Ohio State would just love to be a spoiler this year, and Michigan just loves those nail biters. This is really a must watch.

Ohio were good value for their win though -- esp. Troy Smith and the little WR who ran back a punt. I think you need Iowa to knock off Wisconsin for Michigan to make the rose Bowl.
Your Golden Bears are looking good though.

Cal did well, esp. in the 2nd half. Iowa may save Michigan's butt - up 20pts early in the 4th.
