After messing around the other night...
Power Output A on a flatcap 2 into a CD5 totally removed the bass
Difference between a 112 flatcap2'ed and DIY-ish Hicap is enormous. Just so much more life with the "Hi".
My standard Rega P3 with Elys through a flatcapped stageline (just stuck on the top of my not very exciting [if not heretical] Apollo rack) blows the flatcapped CD5 away for musicality and bass, if not detail.
Not the most exciting news in the world, but I felt like sharing
