102 NAPSC Shorting Plug

Posted by: Mike Hanson on 07 April 2003

I haven't got one of these shorting plugs for my 102, and I need to improvise one for a few days, until my I get the NAPSC equivalent (actually a SNAPS2) back into the system.

So which pin pairs need to be shorted? (Note the attached diagram.) I'm guessing that the pins at 9 and 11 o'clock are joined, as are those at 3 and 5. Am I right? (If not that, then it's probably 3-11 and 5-9, since I doubt that they would "X" the shorting wires.)

Thanks Steve! I didn't think of it when I was there. I got Tuan's last night, so I'm OK for the moment. However, I should get one of my own, even if I don't use it forever. Could you arrange that, and I'll pick it up at some point?

BTW, I'm thinking of doing another stereo night this coming Monday, this time at my place. Are you free?

This is a clear evidence that the little Naim group in Toronto shows the more than ideal relationship between the Naim dealer and its customers. We are a small circle of friends and Hifi nuts who like toys (the difference between a man and a boy is the price of their toys....). Steve (and Robert Fulton) are more than sale persons they are .... the best...

Steve, we will see your "weapon of mass destruction" to the Naim systems (laugh).
