Quick Nait3 Phono stage question

Posted by: Chris Brandon on 16 March 2001

A freind living 8 doors away mentioned that he no longer uses his Turntable and asked about removing the Nait3's internal phono cards to improve the sound of his other source (the method as used very sucessfully with the 32.5 / 72's)

Is this possible or advantageous ?

If you want to use the phono inputs for a line-level source in the future, you'll need to remake the wire links that would have been broken when the phono boards were fitted.

I have no idea if he is selling his Vinyl, but I don't recall his deck being set-up since they moved in. (It may just be a performance enhancing thing, as I know he occasionally visits the Forum)

I will ask.

I Will have to come over soon as I am intrigued.
(Gizza clue !!!)

Ps. I am off next Fri,so are you doing the usual "thursday night outing ?"

About time you joined in !

So,did the removal make a difference ?

...and you no doubt know when you eventually decide to reinstate the vinyl where my recommendations will point you...

(Lp12....Lp12....get the hint ?) smile
