New Naim Vinyl Releases!!!

The Naim Label is proud to announce at long last the release of two highly acclaimed Naim titles on 180gsm heavyweight vinyl. Charlie Haden & Antonio Forcione’s sensual duo encounter “Heartplay’ and Forcione’s hit studio album ‘Touchwood’ are available to buy from Naim’s e-store and all good record stores NOW!BUY HERE
Admittedly it has proved difficult for Naim and Abbey Road to meet our own extremely high standards, when it comes to re-mastering specifically for vinyl. The problems were the length of Touchwood – Antonio’s hit recording from 2003 – at 56:13 and the track order of Heartplay, giving very uneven side lengths, which were compromising the dynamics, level and hence signal to noise. Finally, the duo agreed to a change of track order. Whether it was the tension or just sheer determination we will never know, but Steve Rooke at Abbey Road, with supervision from Naim Label Manager Simon Drake and Mr Forcione himself, cut two magnificent, superbly layered and dynamic albums.
