Records are usually expensive if they are rare (difficult to find or limited edition) and if they are both rare and good then sellers will always ask a premium. Perhaps an abundance of on-line music will change this.

The one AK album I have on vinyl is from Mobile Fidelity (you know what that does to the price) and a double. Pricey, but good music can't be measured in £ or $, if you ask me.
