. . . . and when I can get the two togheter, I'm just glad . . . . and in my opinion, Clapton does it at the top . . . I dunno who advised me to get his "Just One Noght" live touring in Japan, but I swuear is just great . . . listen to the piano attack of Tulsa Time, record 1, side 1 . . . . a smash!!!!!
I'd like to thank whoever it was, I think in this forum who advised to buy this record . . perhaps under the "outstanding live albums" thread. . . a must for al who like the kind.
I know, it was Peter, Northpole . . .
I think I'll give a close look to all yours other best Peter, thanks, and have a good one

Love the Albert Hall recording.. I may be in aminority of one but I find JON a mixed bag.. Claptons on form but the band seems uninterested and dis-involved.

If you think that is a good Clapton Live disc.

You want to buy his 461 Ocean Dlx disc and just listen to the Hammersmith Live disc to me it blows Just One More away. EC Was Here was taken from the same 2 concerts. Just listen to him on Ramblin shout out to the band chord changes during the song. Brilliant.

Yes,461 and the Layla albums are superb, I haven't gone far beyond that as what little I've heard has not been inspirational.

Was Here is great, I had it from the issue . . .one of the best live ever . . . . But I think you're referring to a cd only recording, this Hammersmith business does not exist on vinyl, unless I'm wrong . . .I have 461, great but it is not live, while the 2004's reissue, has a second cd, with the live cocert you're referring to . . a shame they did'nt make it on vinyl . . . . I guess I'l get the cd, "faute de mieux". . . .
