Jonathan Ross & Russell Brand suspended

That's really funny, I don't know what's worse.

I'm getting concerned about some of the reactions to this. It was undoubtedly a gross misjudgment worthy of some sort of punishment (groveling apology, large fine or donation to Children in Need or something like that) and a low profile for a short time. Perhaps these two mega-egos have needed trimming back a bit for a while now.

However what I'm reading and hearing is troubling. Mary Whitehouse and all the other "Angry of Surbiton"s would be loving it.

And by the way "Allo Allo" and "Are You Being Served" were both much more offensive than Terry and June!

Now you're talking - that's my kind of tele - and the Mary Whitehouse Experience - those were the days they don't make shows like that any more

No I don't have any constructive comments - with 5th November coming it would be a good chance to burn them at the stake, now that would be entertaining - it could be live on TV - the ratings would be spectacular and after all what else matters - I'm sure the BBC would be up for it.

And from what I've seen of Ross and Brand it couldn't be less funny that what they've previously done.
