No!Far too expensive.Worth 600-700 Max.It will cost you that again to get it all serviced and your 62 will better the 32

I've been tracking some Naim boxes on eBay.
The most recent four 250s to sell reached £485, £520, £611, £802.
The last was olive, the others CB; the first did not claim a service, the others did.
A 32.5 failed to meet its reserve of £140.
So, I think these figures confirm Mr Rattlesnaic's estimate of value and, I agree, you would have to add hefty service costs if these boxes were to have an extended life.
Make the seller an offer for the 250 - a realistic one might disappoint him/her but, even adding in the cost of a service, you'd be getting a very cost-effective step up from the 140.
cheers

Not sure how much I can say without causing this thread to be moved or deleted, so being very gentle...The price asked for the above unserviced kit is rather too much.

I believe a serviced and updated 32.5 is better than a 62, but the monies involved could be used elsewhere. A spare Hicap is always useful in a Naim system, they have many uses should you wish to expand on your Naim collection so far.

If you could purchase the whole lot for about £800 - £900, then it would be a fair reflection of going prices on a well known auction site, perhaps even a shade under.
