Anyone purchased this TT? Or been able to demo against the GyroDec?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks

Hi there
I am sorry to say that I have not done an AB comparison but do have an interesting story to tell. I was in the Path Premier room at a hifi show and they had an Ayre Acoustics Amplifier, an Ayre Acoustics CD player and a Techno deck - I cannot remember what speakers were there. On entering the room, it was hard to tell if the amp was switched to CD or record deck but the system sounded superb. I have to honestly say that I turned to the sales person in the room and said 'if that is the CD player then I would like to buy one'. His reply was 'if our CD player could sound like that then we would have a huge queue and I (the sales person) would be at the front of it' - from this you can deduce that the Techno Deck was on and it sounded wonderful.
Sorry just an anecdote I know but the Techno Deck is one great deck.
Hope someone else can actually answer your question.
Cheers
