I used to have one of the very early MCD's circa 1984. I took it up to Meridian and had it Pro'd around 1986. It was a fine machine, the main drawback being really slow track access on earlier models. A skip to track 10 could take up to 15 seconds!
It started blowing fuses all the time, so I retired it about 8 years ago. Last I saw it was in a cupboard somewhere. If I haven't binned it, Vik, you're welcome to have it. See if you can breathe life back into it. I'll look tonight.
