How KAN they do it ?

There's lots and lots of threads that point to the strengths of the KAN as a serious speaker.

Looking at the box, as low key and nondescript as it is, say when you compare it with the heavy serious looking Dynaudio Audience 40, which has got an in your face "I can do anything look about it", with a mean looking driver.

How does the KAN manage to perform so highly, are there any other wee performers like the KAN ?

Hello Muzza,

I have some Kan-II's,which I enjoy every day.
Also I heard some Audience-40's on the end of different systems during this year,and I must say that I could live quite happily with it.(If I had to) They certainly do look way better than the Kans. (well,unless your name is Rob Holt and you're the owner of some beautiful Santos Rosewood Kans)

So, the Audience 40 is a bit more user-friendly,but I'd still prefer some s/h Kans over new Audience-40's.
