In-Wall Speaker connections

Please be kind !

Having moved into our new home, SWBMO is not very impressed with my speaker cables draped across our fireplace....... I wonder why ?

Having just spent over £1200 on a new Fraim, she made the "subtle" comment about the speaker cables (again.....)

I need to pass my cables inside the wall and use fly-leads (argh!) from the wall to the speakers. It's either that or nothing....

I've looked at the QED product but would like to throw my quest to the wolves or, preferably, ask anyone who has been in a similar position what they decided on.

No hassles getting the cables from A -> B as there is plenty room in the cavity behind.

Please, let's not debate that it is better to keep the cables in one piece - I know that but I have to hide them - end of story !!!!

Hi

I know of many who have leads passing in the
wall or floor, with great success. I don't
understand why you cannot have a single wire
from amp to speakers...that enters wall by
amp, and exits behind speaker...just have
the bananas soldered on AFTER routing cables.
In fact NACA 5 works very well for hidden
installations.

Hi Scott, thanks for your quick response.

I would happily have my cables passing behind the walls and out through a back box but my wife will simply not tolerate it.

I don't fancy having to wear headphones for life Wink
