CD5I shipment dates ?

Hi there,

I'm thinking about getting a new CD5i, but of course would like to listen to it first. Does anyone know if there is now demo stock in the Naim dealer network ? Also, if I were to order one, are they shipping at present ? ie. what is the first order date for them ?

I have ordered one from my local dealer, and they've given me a date of early Dec (based in London UK).

Just to bump this back up the lists...

Can anyone from Naim comment on the UK delivery date for CD5i and Nait 5i as I have both on order and am being told "roughly between end of Nov and beginning of Jan".

Can an administrator from Naim give us a better idea of shipment dates for the CD5i?

I already have my order in, so I'm already excited about finally getting it, just love to know when that might be?

Sorry everyone, I can't give you any definite dates. We have been quite overwhelmed by the demand for the 5i kit and can only build a limited number before Christmas. The priority is, of course, to try to get as many demonstration units out to dealers all over the world as possible.

All I will say is please be patient, but if not, check back every couple of weeks with your dealer or distributor for an update.

Audio-eXcellence in Exeter told me they won't even have a demo model until at least a fortnight this last Saturday (that'll be 20th then).

I'm itching to hear one though...
