Deleted post - an apology

A recent post of mine has disappeared without trace, presumably deleted. Having gone through the forum rules, I think I understand why.

Any breach of the rules on permissable topics was unintentional - won't happen again.

BTW - don't we get a notification if posts are deleted?

No big deal - it seemed -

1: you had had your answer (i.e. don't use it without an earth) and

2: You might be about to ask about French mains configurations and correct earthing - which, if you are a qualified electrician, you would soon be able to find out for yourself.
If you are not - no-one on the forum is going to guide you through such work.

I therefore moved it on.
