Tool are playing at London Brixton Academy tonight.
Will post review tomorrow if my head /ears have stopped bleeding, and I can hear other people talking to me. :-)

Sorry about the late review for any of those interested :-)
For those who don't know Tool's music, they are heavy 'industrial' and 'angular' riffing band with complex rhythmns and longer compositions, I wouldn't say 'prog' or 'heavy metal'. They are heavy
The gig was a Brixton Academy, and this time I was downstairs. The previous Tool gig was there too, but I was upstairs, and the sound was awful. Downstairs, seems to be much more controlled sound, and good to listen to.
Unbiased comments: Very tight, very mechanical sounding, but played with 100% passion. A lot of songs sound very similar,
unless you know them..Chugging riffs, drum patterns, bass lead lines, and in similar chords. Great animations and backdrop, good visual show.
Personal comments: Bloody hell, now that's what I call LOUD HEAVY ROCK. Totally blew me away. All songs executed
perfectly..I was hooked for the 2 hours. They played mostly songs from Lateralis, but a few others from Aenima and Undertow. The highlight for me was the end tune Lateralis, and got me jumping. Musicianship was great, second only to KC :-) It made me think why I am I not creating music at the moment, so I got my brothers 4 track!!
Maynard the singer always says "take the energy, and create something positive", which is so true. The previous time he said to 'go and make some creative music ' ( or along those lines!)
I recommend them highly as a live band, if you like heavy riffing..But really to fully appreciate them, know some of the music first.......
Cheers
