A Fair and Musical Trade

I replaced my LK1 & LK2 with a 32.5/Hi/250 sometime last summer and was pondering what to do with the Linn kit.
Finally, I got out the camera, wrote some prose and posted on e-bay. A very nice gentleman from Japan bought them and it cost over $125US to ship them!
I took the proceeds and purchased something very musical -- a musical instrument!
I got a very nice Tacoma Thunderchief acoustic bass, fretless and with the nice Fishman pickups and electronics. It plays like a dream and sounds very nice. And, since it's acoustic, I don't have to worry about my mains quality!!!
A fair and musical trade, IMhO.
Actually, the sale of the Linn kit couldn't finance a Naim CDP or an 82 or... Maybe next time!
