I have an African Grey Parrot. Her name is Rosie. She has only just recently started talking. She says

Hello Big Bird
Sod the world
Hello Beautiful
Wooh Hooh (KT Tunstal song track 4)
Go to school

She mimics the telephone, the kids screaming and all sorts.

I can hold her in the palm of my hand upside down and even stuff her up my jumper. She is so tame.

Her cage is always open and in the morning she comes upstairs to see me. She is the love of my life.

I've got a Norwegian Blue but it never says or does anything.

Obviously pining. Our neighbour June has a parrot. She went to visit relatives in Weymouth for two weeks and left the bird with another neighbour. When she got back, all the parrot would come out with was “June’s in Weymouth”.
