Help identifying this record brush
Posted by: andrea_lee on 27 July 2009
I picked this up while travelling in Asia - by far the best record brush I've used. It expands to the width of the radius and then whisks the dust right off. Is there a local distributor for these?

You still have not contributed a single thing to this thread from the OPs point of view.
You have just sent in a pointless smiley, a stupid pic and a half witted comment about me.
You appear to be positioning yourself to being nominated "Troll of the year".
Regards
Mick

Whereas yours required moderating due to breaking forum rules.

Therefore I have half a wit more than you?

At least that comment had some wit, hopefully you will continue to improve.

I wish there was some hope for your performance.

Now you are being a troll.

I think you confirmed my hopes for your future forum performance there Mick.
IMO you judging humour is somewhat akin to George W Bush judging The Nobel Peace Prize.

My edit was to keep the content current, rather than for contents sake.
Your patronage is duly noted.

I have no intention of continuing this little squabble, it is boring for everyone else and is nothing to do with brushes.
You will have to accept that I think you are a troll who is lowering the standard of the forum and I will have to accept that you think I am a miserable bugger with a humor bypass.
On that basis we need never talk to each other again.
I did notice your reference to Hitler that you have since deleted and although I do not rise to it, it does confirm my opinion of you.

Mick

Certain members have returned and have stirred up our happy community. Please stop or leave.
As for these brushes, I was interested until I saw it described as a 'tweak'. Then I knew that it is probably sold at inflated price and was of limited use.
The AcousTech Big Record brush, which I already own, remains on deck ...

555 & Mick, cease and desist, please. The moderation stick is ready to go...
If this thread weren't in the Padded Cell already I would have slashed and burned it a while back. Still may do, actually...

I don't see this as a cynical reply. If you want to brush dust from LPs, a make-up brush is likely to be as good for (I'm guessing) a tenth of the price.

Well 555 seems to have made it his life mission to rub as many people up the wrong way as possible.
Posted on: 30 July 2009 by 555
I'm sure you aren't attempting to rub me up the wrong way Simon,
but Richard Dane might have a different opinion.
Talking of which it seems to me some members have difficulty coping with the emotions associated with encountering an opinion different to theirs ...

Ladies and Gents, lets not get too serious as well as asking questions [some on a serious note] we must also be humoured and i for one like the smileys and pictures and after a long day on the road and also dealing with the imbeciles in the transport office this makes me howl with laughter and forget about the crap day at work.

Perhaps it's just me but I've yet to find a brush that doesn't induce lots of dust-attracting static in vinyl; even the ones that are supposedly "Anti-Static".
Posted on: 30 July 2009 by Mick P
Tony
You will not get static if you use natural hair.
I have sometimes used my badger hair shaving brush to clean my LPs and it leaves them clean and quiet.
I know Loricraft used to do a horse hair one.

I didn't either, in fact her make is more expensive than the brush!personally I think she is being ripped off!
