Q for Fred Simon

I just picked up Dave Onderdonk's "Close Call" on the Quaver label, on vinyl (local radio station was cleaning out its shelves). I saw your name in the credits, and it led me to wonder if you happen to know another Quaver artist - Tom Splitt? I have a vinyl copy of his "Elan", and it's a sentimental favorite of mine.

Anyway, just curious whatever happened to him. Longshot, I reckon, but thanks in advance.

jayd, Tom was the first Quaver artist and lived in Colorado at the time, 20+ years ago.

I didn't know him, and I don't know what he's up to, sorry.

Ah, thanks anyway, Fred.

For some reason I had it in my head that he was affiliated with (on faculty of?) the university in Evanston. Not sure where I got that.

I'm looking forward to Dave's album... saving it for Saturday afternoon, when I have the house to myself for a couple of hours.
