Which power upgrade for CD5 & NAC102

Hi,

Got a CD5 and NAC102 (inc NAPSC) and looking to buy a power supply as upgrade.

Do I go for FlatCap2 (to power both?) or stretch to a HiCap on just one of them (and which one)?

Hi Dave,

I started out with a Flat-Cap2 and have now ended up with one new HiCap which I use on my NAP200 and another 2nd hand one for my CD5.

I'll recommend you get a 2nd hand Hi-Cap and experiment on useing it either on the CD5 or NAC102.

If you buy a new one then these babies really hold there value. Smile

I recently bought a s/h hicap from Englsh Audio in Hereford, very young (olive but recent) for a good price, he still has an identical one I think. He also has the FC2 I traded in, it's only a couple of years old. Could be worth a call.
