Yes,that was a very good read.I'd be inerested to know how many times other words cropped up (e.g. tonight,gonna be,yours).The current boy band/cutie girl phenomenon contains some of the Worst Music I Have Heard - Ever.Even the Monkees redeemed themselves with Head,and some of them could play instruments and write songs - they also had better songwriters (e.g.Neil Diamond).
The current lot don't even have to be able to sing,just dance a bit and grin cheesily.I couldn't imagine any of them having even the talent that Peter Tork had in his fringe.
For those who don't know me,I'd like to say that there is a lot of excellent music being made,it's just that the stuff you hear on daytime radio (particularly the execrable Heart FM,which is often on where I work) isn't it.
