Can't wait to get hold of this! Also, the original line up reformed and played the Hay-on-Wye Book Festival on 27 May!

IMHO Colossal Youth is one of the great post-punk albums - original to the point of being virtually unrepeatable.

Agreed they were a bit of a "one off". Got all their stuff, as well as things that Alison Statton did with Weekend after they split. The Moxham boys also did some interesting stuff under the name of The Gist, if I remember rightly. The only things I had by them were on some long gone NME tapes, but if anyone knows of anything by them that is still available let me know.

Went to the gig I am pleased to say... and very good it was too. Not sure about this 3 CD business though. If you have the album and the testcard EP (or indeed the last reissue with them both on) then what else do you actually need? The Peel sessions may be good but the other stuff I recall as being poor quite frankly. As for the threat of new material. Ugh. Can't see that working at all.
