For further info, apparantly the software from
here is a lot better than the standard bundled stuff too....

I bought one of these using this offer a couple of weeks ago. As a Windows XP Home user I had loads of trouble trying to get it to work. This was not the fault of the Wavefinder, but is a problem with the USB drivers supplied with XP. With these drivers you get constant problems with the sound looping and skipping a bit like a scratched record. The solution is to overwrite the XP USB drivers with the ones from Win2K. This is not difficult provided you are a reasonably experienced computer user and you are able to follow a simple set of instructions precisely. The instructions and USB drivers can be found atWindab. I also consider this to be a better player than Dabbar.
Once you have this lot working it is defintely worth all the effort. I spent about 4 hours last night listening to radio whilst surfing the net or filling in a spreadsheet without and further troubles.

Of course you could just get a lead to go from your sound out port straight back in your sound in port then record via say Audion, or Winamp which will happily convert to mp3.

That will cost you around 2 quid.

Don't believe the hype folks.

I haven't installed mine yet...it only arrived 2 days ok, so I'll do so and let you know if I ahve any problems. Might be worth emailing Psion directly, are you on the edge of an area which receives DAB as you could be losing the signal??
