SBL Replacement

Of course!! Actually, I put the 500 choice in as an amusement for myself and the source first/then amp advocates. Unfortunately for me, saving for a 500 at this point isn't realistic as it would be a very distant purchase. However, for those who care to vote anyway - do not let this point deter you from casting your preference for the 500. I acknowledge that I am in no way obligated to follow anyone's opinion - but I would like to know what you think!

I had to vote for new drivers then active, but if it's your money I'd go for new drivers then 500.

Actually I've yet to hear the 500 but the "new" drivers for my SBLs was money well spent.

I would wait for the replacement or NBL's. I haven't experienced old driver SBL's but the my "new" ones (5 years old) sound just as good (to my ears) as "newer" SBL's. I think all this new cabinet stuff is marginal.
