Agree Dave. Especially the commentary from Beefy, Warney and Mikey Holding. Shame they haven't got Peter Willey as pundit as well.

"The commentator's Holding the pundit's Willey" would relive one of cricket's classic moments.

Why is it going to rain again and save the Aussies?

It wouldn't be the first time the weather had come to their rescue; I think it was in 1997 where had a 1-0 lead after the opening test, but couldn't capitalise because of the weather. On that occasion it was the sunny weather that cost us because if the rest of the series had been rained off then we would have won 1-0.

I'm afraid so, ROTF. It looks like it's only going to be 3-0. I know that will be a disappointment to you.

Should be interesting tomorrow.
Posted on: 02 August 2009 by Chillkram
Well, if Anderson and Onions start the day like they did on Friday it could be very interesting. However, most likely scenario is that they bat on to around 400+ and just see the game out.

Of course the draw is likely BUT wouldnt it be nice to have a 2-0 lead in the series.

Wrong show I'm afraid.....Bungle was in Rainbow with Zippy and George.

Bumble was actually nicknamed due to his resemblance to characters of Michael Bentines "The Bumblies"

How sad am I?

I don't think it'll get to lunch tomorrow. Not even certain it'll get to noon. Lost the ashes on a lousy toss of the coin [I don't think so]

Beckham for Captain, I say.

I am finished with English Cricket.

I knew if the sun shone at Headingley then we would snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Lords was a flash in the pan, sadly.

Okay, I will buy a felt hat if we manage to win the series now ...

And eat it ...
