World War 2

Does anyone know of a good World war 2 book? Not too in depth, just the 'basics'. From there i might want to investigate certain areas, hoping this 'starter' book will be the catalyst.

Thanks for the tip-off. I have wanted this DVD box since it came out a couple of years ago but not at the typical price of around £80.00! At £29.99 with free delivery its a steal so I've orderd mine today. Thanks again.

One of the more interesting reads on the subject. Not so much a narrative but interviews with those involved in the war from both sides.
