Which unusual beer are you necking tonight?

Here's mine. A camra friend at work visited his local brewery (a mate's double garage) and brought me four different samples to work. Very nice, easy to drink.

I'd love to say this:
But at £500 a pop and only 11 bottles made... (but it is 55% alcohol!!)

Yeah, read about that. I think I'd rather throw a vodka into a fosters! How is it made that strong?

Think they freeze it a number of times and take off the ice (alcohol having a lower freezing point to water).

I still prefer Brakspear's Ordinary.
But I find this Wychwood brew has a very good nose.
The taste is firm & well rounded with a warm furry finish.

It has been said that drinking is bad for your health and in this case it was pretty bad for the squirrel.

Was drinking Frog Island Brewery's "Croak and Stagger" the other night, a more full bodied darker ale which is my preference in beer.

....My better half is somewhat younger than myself and hadn't (apparently) realised the lowlife status of Carlsberg Special Brew - she knew nothing of it's reputation.
.....Consequently she bought me a suprise 4 pack from Sainsburys tonight....which I'm drinking now (hic) not as bad as I'd remembered actually!

I am drinking a very nice white wine right now but the evening started with a local brew, a organic white beer De Leckere, Witte Vrouwen (translated White Ladies), a quarter of Utrecht (where my brother lives coincidentely).
