If you mean Ebay, there's nothing wrong with it.
I've sold a few photography items, (amongst other stuff) on Ebay with no problems. I get very good prices for my mint equipment. If you do bright, clear shots of what you want to sell, with a detailed description, you should get a decent price.
I have been paid within three days on all sales.

If you're looking to discuss photography, I've always found
photo.net to be the best - it has a section for selling kit but it's much more than that.
Otherwise, have you thought about using someone like
Ffordes if you're thinking of buying more photo kit? I used them to swap an infrequently used ETRSi kit for a Mamiya 65mm lens for my '7. It worked out well - they're a decent crowd.

Ephotozine has a classifieds section. Also has various discussion boards etc. Good place to start or get some pointers as to where you might be able to get the best price. Good luck
