Tangent Quattro Internet Radio

I apologise if this one has been asked before, but searching on the keywords above doesn't exactly give a refined set of results.
This looks like it fits the bill for my next bedside radio, especially as it will (hopefully) find some Italian stations. Anyone got one? Thoughts?

I only listen to Radio Four in bed, so my radio might as well have valves. The prospect of having to select from thousands of stations would give me insomnia, so no help from me I'm afraid.

I must admit, I normally wake up to John Humphrys (in a manner of speaking

) but signora would like to have a choice of Italian radio sometimes, and I think I can only get that through the internet. That said, I think there would only be two presets - too much choice can be a bad thing.
The thing that concerns me is that out here in the sticks, I can only get around 1.5 Mb/s bandwidth - is that OK for reliable internet radio?

409 KB ps (ADSL at the end of 6km country line) gives me pretty decent Radio 4 and internet access. No-one else can have so tenuous a "broad" band connection.
