July 4 a good day to release Guantanamo Bay detainees?

Or at least detain them within the US jurisdiction so that they have ACCESS TO JUSTICE.

I really don't believe that allowing people to express their concerns on a serious issue amounts to cliché. Would you rather everything was reduced to your own level where nothing is sacred and nothing really matters provided you can make a joke out of it? And no, I wouldn't employ a loose cannon with an attitude problem like yours either.

The good news is that despite Bush's visit to Denmark the population is still not enamoured of its present leader in taking Denmark into Iraq. Since he has dismally failed to supply the goodies he promised in the election I doubt he will be rewarded at the next. At home Bush is facing opposition from all sides including his own party of previously-loyal, knee-jerk followers. America is already tired of Bush and his popularity ratings are sinking as fast as the sun setting over America's international reputation. Now how's that for a string of pointless clichés? Goodnight. Roll Eyes

Nime, me old Great Dane, I did read this the other day, but thought I'd commnet on your loose cannon compliment before I get fired (boom boom). As I've often said on here, I do not have an agenda, I have no leanings (on here) religious/political or otherwise, I just enjoy reasonable òriginal`debate free of steriotypical Cliche's where possible. I am not a 'Journo' not would ever like to be one in todays press-world, as it's probably impossible to be 'Free' no matter what our Mat's drinking buddies may say.
I trust you refer to not employing me in those/that capacity, as being a 'loose cannon' to-date, I've always kept my mouth & thoughts shut (believe it or not) when it came to carrying out any particular employment I happened to be doing at the time, innit.

The only obvious anarchy is in your use of the english language and your tortuously phrased posts. But perhaps you are simply a poor typist? A messy thinker? A headless chicken? 10k chimpanzees at 10k keyboards? Dyslexic? A typoholic? Brain damaged? Linguistically challenged? An articulate moron? An arts graduate? Whatever.

I'm possibly all of those things me old China, but I'll also repeat myself once again on this very point. As somebody who posts on here frequently, unless the subject and importance of the post is of high value 'to me' I just can't be arsed to correct everything, and it's hardly earnt by anybody's rewactions anyway, through experience.- The point is !I am aware my spellings and grammar etc, are oftenm wrong, but the essence of the thoughts are put across, hence the replies. This is not a writing school, or English lessons on line either, nor is it a convent, in that I use heavy language on occassion too, but only in my opinion to strenghten the argumant or use it in the context
of how real people in the real world actually attempt to communicate with each other. GOOD CLEAR COMMUNICATION is the key to everything, understanding the point, being aware of what somewbody is saying, and if not ask them what they mean.

Fritz Van I attempt to use humour at times to make things slightly interesting,if we all want to get back to correctness and Our Mat's original attepts at pompousnmess, cliqueisms, and your not in our club mentality so sod off you oik, you're naturally welcome to do so, but such behaavious is unfortunatelöy far above my intellect and nouse, innit John Big Grin

Deft use of irony there Fritz. Mixed with a little self-deprecation for good measure.

Communication is always a two-way process. Your justifications above are irrelevant to this discussion. This has nothing to do with class, clubs, grammar, humour, language, Mat's mates, Naim or spelling. It is all about clear communication. Smile
