Chaps

Mrs Mick and I recorded the Charlotte Church show and viewed it last night. Mrs Mick had her customary Gin and Tonic in hand ready to be delighted by the "voice of an angel"

We certainly did not get that, she was a bit blunt to say the least. The language was a somewhat risque, even in her opening song.

One had to say she seems to have her feet firmly on the ground and her comments on Britney Spears seemed to reflect this.

I quite liked her.

What did any of you think of her other than your desire to couple with her.

Well, she would appear to be someone,who as a child/teenager had a prodigious talent. As a young adult, she appears to me as if she has purposely forsaken that talent & instead turned into a very average pop singer, & joined the "celebrity" circus, presumably because there is more money/cache in doing brainless TV & "Hello" magazine appearances than there is in using her undoubted god-given talent. She would appear to be a poster-girl for the critics of a capitalist society. Do I blame her? Well not really (OK then maybe just a little), but what a shame.

Luckily she is a bit of a larf and is prepared to take the piss out of herself, so she is ok in my book.

Found her funny on last nights show and not afraid to take the p*** out of other so called stars. Her send up of Paris Hilton was ok, I like a bit of irreverance. Her singing wasn't brilliant but she gets stuck in doesnt she. I think she will get better with time a bit like Jonathan Ross who was awful on the Last Resort and now is a class act (IMO). She could also fall on her not inconsiderable arse. What the heck was she wearing?

She does tho look good in some photos

I find that the show - after 2 so far - is quite good/better than most other 'similar' ones, and that after recording it I save WAV/.mp3 of her song at beginning/end to add to my collection of her output sonically since 1999.
