I really cannot work out why this band has slipped through my net but I bought 'Soul Jacker' just before xmas and have not stopped playing it! I have also bought 'Electro Shock Blues' which is equally good. Needless to say the back catalogue will be purchased shortly!

Well, you missed the one in-between, Daisies of the Galaxy, which many would say is their best album to date. I would get that one next.

I have purchased soul jacker but ain't played it yet, I will remedy this very soon.

Beautiful freaks a good album as well, nice recording too.

I love Eels too, especially the opening track on Beautiful Freaks with the pseudo vinyl needle in the groove thing.

Kinda makes me wonder if the vinyl copy of the album has a fake CD tray opening and closing noise included?

Great album, great band.

I bought Souljacker before Christmas and loved it's raw edgy sound.

I've just bought Beatiful Freak, Daisies of the Galaxy (been meaning to buy this one since the London show, Naim played it in their room), and Electro Shock Blues.

They're all fab but the really wierd thing is I feel like I've heard a lot of the songs before, some have obviously been on radio playlists, but it puzzles me as to why they've escaped my attention before now.

After one too many Ardbeg's I accidently ordered a second copy of Souljacker (on CD) despite already owning it, so first person wanting it gets it for free (UK only).

Saw them live a couple of years ago.

Definitely worthwhile.

I saw them live on their latest tour. Excellent.

E and Butch both play really well.

Good link. Sound quality is very good. Especially liked the 14 minute Not Ready Yet.
