SL2's in hifi choice

all

the new edition of hifi choice carries a very favourable review of the SL2's. it's a little brief, but basically sums them up as insightful and detailed speakers (if memory serves).

there's also a quick review of the Fraim in a "stand shoot out", which the Fraim wins, with 5 out of 5 stars.

cheers

no mana i'm afraid, so perhaps not the comprehensive comparison you're after? there was a stand by alphason, and another that i can't rememeber.

i know what you mean. it seems that most threads seem to drift on to stand debates at the moment, regardless of the initial topic.

I don't care what anyone says SBLs are wonderful. Get yer self a pair whilst you still can!

Hmm Alphason - i bet the Fraim just pipped it for 5 Stars. Good to see Hifi Choice are still conducting quality reviews.

Can anyone remember how much a star costs - or is that What Li-Fi ?

It looks like HiFi Choice have got naimed

This month in Hifi Choice

STATEMENTS

We go under the lid of Naim's mew flagship preamp the NAC552 to discover if it lives up to its aspirational price-tag, we look at Densen's new 17-Bit CD player - the player to take it one further, and Lumley's floorstanding Lampos loudspeaker shows how to communicate with style. All this plus Audio Research, Musical Fidelity, and Denon.

NAIM EXPOSED

Our man in the field has been invited to tea at Naim's HQ in Salisbury. Expect an in depth report on one of Britain's most prestigious hi-fi manufacturers with an interviewed lovely pictures of the factory.

Just been listening to them. Very good indeed. Well worth an audition if you're in the market.
