Missing gigs and the internet
Posted by: Top Cat on 01 July 2003
Hi folks.
I've a spectacular ability to miss good gigs - generally because I don't know they're happening. Other than trawl the music mags (which I have started doing again after a sabbatical), is there a place on the internet which allows forthcoming gigs (both big and small) to be 'discovered' - perhaps allowing searches by location/style/type of venue/etc.?
If not, d'ya think it's worth creating one?
John (who fortunately goes to see Richard Thompson again tomorrow - one that I didn't miss)
