mains interference

Browsing the mags in WH Smiths today, my eye was caught by an article (can't remember which hifi mag it was)about RF interference from a newish technology designed to distribute internet access etc etc through the mains. Powerline Communications Technology(PCT)apparently can interfere with any sensitive equipment including amps and such. Presumably not only does it cause RF interference but I suppose it will reduce the quality of the mains. The radio hams are concerned but so far I've not seen much in the hifi press or here. Naim addicts are, it seems, keen on mains quality so should we be concerned? Any thoughts?
