He is of more use to an old lady who has been mugged if he is in uniform than out of it.
Sometime you need to be pragmatic.

Many an old Lady (in or out of uniform) would do a better job than most of the park keepers on today's beat anyway Our Mick*
Trust this helps as per usual!
Fritz.
An egostist, (Top instructor or not) driving alone, and not officially (therefore not fully insured), liked or not liked by his 'colleagues' is simply not the issue here. He endangered the Public without any reason whatso'ever, and should be punished accordingly (I remind everybody that this Great highly qualified Super Hero is a bloody PC, and nothing more, lest you forget in the ranks there, innit*

Acting OC, Capt, Inbred-Golly-Gosh-Daddys-Regiment-Denholm, was quoted as saying, "Well Yes! we're all Bally pleased to be able to bring these poor souls out here in Pakistan, shelter from the storm, with electricity and running water to-boot, It really makes it all worth it, and I'm even prouder than usual to be British":
An Army Press Spokes-person was later recorded as saying "Thank Fuck these squaddies can't resign overnight like the Hofficers, or 90% of them'd quit and stay here, they've never had it so bleedin good half of them.
Can't say too much at this stage though!

Yes! I too was wondering why Britain didn't farm out the building of its latest TOP SECRET state of the art Battleship, to North Korea maybe, or How about China?

I would suggest to the chaps on the old pink salmon show regarding their 'daring' 'How much do you drink?' thread; to consider their answers again, when they seriously had the possibility to drink 24/7, and money was no object either, innit!
I wonder if the 'Honest' answers would be the same?

Yep the cat's been missing since the 13th December. We've tracked catprints all over the surrounding fields and woods day after day in the snow. Posted pictures in the supermarkets and on the internet "cat's lost" pages. Asked every neighbour for miles in all directions.
Where the hell do cats go? There are hundreds missing all year round! A few get run over but that doesn't explain the numbers that go missing. Ear marking and chips don't seem to bring them back either. One can get very paranoid about neighbours when one's cat goes missing! It's enough to drive one to drink. I may even have a second bottle of beer at the weekend to drown my sorrows! More snow is forecast.
How is it on the gainful employment front? How are you adapting to all the paid free-time you now have on your hands?

Going by the recent reports of gross missuse of all the kindly donated Tsunami dosh (which suddenly is on the back burner again), I've come to the conclusion (again) that wether in 'War or Peace' people just do not learn, and change; they/we, are essentially not capable of learning from our historic follies, and repeat them time & time again, probably forever in fact, with forever being the egoistic time scale of humanity's relatively short existence, and nothing else, innit*
